Bringing another kind of "summer heat" to you all!

Hey, everyone! Well, summertime is officially in full swing! Things are heating up all over, but nowhere more than they are at Sequential Treasures. As those of you in the know already know, when summer hits, so does our annual major summer sale! This year is certainly no different.

So, having talking it over with our various array of talents, here's the break down of who is involved in this year's extravaganza and how low the discounts will go:

Ben Hansen: all current inventory 35% off the listed price!

Randy Kintz: all current inventory 35% off the listed price!

Richard Moore: all current inventory 35% off the listed price!

Matt Haley: all current inventory 40% off the listed price!

Wow, some major league savings on a lot of really great art! And by "all current inventory," we mean ALL of it. Cover, pages, pin-ups, the whole works. If it is on the gallery, it's at those discounted levels. But that's not even the end of it. I've decided to add a small incentive, as any order placed for over $100.00 or more, will also get a special little something from me, as well. I don't want to spoil the surprise, but I'm sure those who do so will enjoy it (and this will even be extend to purchases of art by artists not involved in the sale, as well, because I'm just a nice kind of guy that way).

So, when does all this madness begin? Well the sale starts July 1st (at 12:01 a.m. PST) and will run through July 21st (until 11:59 p.m. PST). That's three whole weeks to get in on these massive savings! So, don't delay in getting your orders in. Go to our art gallery and check out all the great stuff that's available, then place your orders promptly (as I doubt the best stuff will be sticking around very long)! Let Sequential Treasures help you kick off the summer in grand style!

Also, for those interested, Randy Kintz's commission raffle, which I told you about last time, have ended and the winners chosen. The grand prize winner is Jerry Livengood (who is obviously doing that!)! Congratulations to him! I'll try to be sure to let you all see a picture of what he chose for his commission, as soon as one is available. To get the info on who all the various levels of winners were, you can read that right here.

Well, that's all for now, but there are still other things brewing in the background at S.T. HQ, which I can't tell you about now, but will later when the time is right. Until then, don't forget to get in on our awesome summertime sale! Peace out!

Matt Haley's left turn at Albuquerque!

Hello, my fellow art fans! It would seem that things have been quiet around the Sequential Treasures HQ for a while... a bit too quiet. Well, we're hoping to change all that, with some major news bits for you all today.

First off, if you are going to be in Albuquerque, New Mexico this weekend, then you'll surely want to stop by the Albuquerque Comic Expo. Why? Well, there are lots of reasons, but none better than our own Matt Haley will be in attendance there. He'll be talking about a project he's working on with, none other than the legend himself, Stan "The Man" Lee (who will also be at the show). Plus, he'll also be talking about his awesome Star Wars fan film, Blackstar Warrior, as well as doing sketches and the like. So, if you are in the area, stop by the show and spend a few minutes with Matt. You'll be glad you did. But this is just the beginning of our news.

Randy "Rantz" Kintz also has something special going on, as well. He's holding a special commission raffle contest. The price per ticket is $5 , with a max purchase of 15 tickets per person. Only one person can win a prize, to keep it fair for everyone involved. There are also incentive prizes, for people to purchase more than one or two tickets. You can get more info on this, as well as a list of the incentive prizes right here. But your time is limited to get in on this, so don't delay in getting your chance at some really cool art and stuff. Of course, if that fails, you can always pick up something from Randy's eBay listings, or something of his from our art gallery, which are just as cool.

I also want to bring your attention to something a good firend of mine alerted me to. There is a benefit to help a family in need who lost their dad/fiancé recently. This friend also has a piece of thier own artwork as part of the benefit. Sequential Treasures has always liked to help out in situations like this, whenever we can. So, head over to the website on this, to get all the details on how you can help and perhaps get some awesome art in the process.

It wouldn't be a news report, if I didn't update everyone on the scanner situation. Well, I still haven't replaced it yet, as sales have been beyond light. Despite this, however, the problem will be resolved shortly. To get this side of the program rolling again, I made a very large personal sacrifice to get the funds needed for a new scanner. So, it will not be long before we are running at full steam with art updates again. Of course, that won't be until after the last bit of news I have for you...

As summer is officially here, you all know that it's almost time for our huge summertime sales event, that we hold every year. I'm currently working out the details with our stable of artists, but will have a more defined outline of who'll be involved and how deep the discounts will be. So, make sure to stay tuned here in the coming days, as I'll be providing that information very soon. Probably be a good idea for you to start saving your pennines now, too.

Well, that's if for now. I'll be back before you know it with our big summer sale info, as well as some other news and info as it happens. Until then, peace out!

Sequential Treasures talent at San Diego ComiCon!

Hello again, my art loving fiends. Well, with it being near the end of July, there's only one thing on most comic art lovers minds: San Diego ComiCon! Well, it's no different here, either. Unfortunately, your blogmaster will not be able to attend, but some of our stalwart artists will be there. So, here's the lowdown for you all, so you can be sure to see them in person.

First off, Matt Haley will be at Booth 2000 (otherwise know as the Bad Ass booth). He'll be there with "Bad Ass" writer, Ben Thompson. Matt will be attending all four days and will be doing a limited number of commissions at the show. Matt has assured me that the commissions taken at the show will be completed by the end of the show. So, make sure to get to that booth early to get on the short list for that.

Sadly, I have to report that Richard Moore, who was scheduled to be signing at the NBM Publishing booth (Booth 1528, for those who wish to know), will not be able to attend. He's unfortunately come down with a serious sinus infection and cannot make it. I'm sure you'll wish to extend your sympathies and hope for him to have a speedy recovery.

And lastly, today is also the final day of our massive "Summer Madness" sale. At 11:59 pm (PST) tonight, you will no longer be able to get the awesome discounts from our participating artists. So, don't waste these final hours and let these awesome savings pass you by. Miss out and it'll be some time before you have another shot. Just head over to our art gallery and place that order now!

Well, that's all for now. For those of you going to the show, have a great time! For those of you who aren't, well, you'll be in good company with yours truly and who knows, I may be back soon with a new update of art for sale for you, as I'm expecting some stuff in from some of our artists any day now. So, missing the show won't be all bad for you. Until next time, peace out!

And the Sequential Treasures train just keeps chugging along, with more news an info to bring all of you comic art lovers out there.

Today I get to inform you that Sequential Treasures resident superstar, Matt Haley, will be at Norwescon 33 this weekend. This is the Pacific Northwest's premiere sci-fi and fantasy convention. It is being held at the DoubleTree Hotel Seattle Airport, in SeaTac, WA. Matt will be there doing sketches and the like from 2pm to 6 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 2 pm on Sunday. If you are in the neighborhood, make sure to stop by and check in with him. To get the full guest list and other info on the show, just head over to their website.

And also, don't forget all the new art for sale from Matt, that we just put up at our art gallery. Plus, he still has a couple of commission slots still open right now, but that can change very quickly, so if you'd like one from him, get your order in now. You can see his rates right here. So, even if you can't make the show, you can still get some Matt Haley artistic goodness for yourself.

Well, that's it for now. It sure has been busy around these parts the last couple of weeks, but that's how we like it. I'll be back soon, with a report on the Comic Evolution event I'll be at on Saturday, as well as new art updates (I hope). Until next time, peace out!

Hey, everyone! The greatest week ever for Sequential Treasures continues. Today, as promised, we bring you the commission rates list for artist Matt Haley.

Artist Bio: Matt Haley

Hello, my comic art faithful. I told you I'd be back soon with more news and info and you know your not-so-humble blogmaster has never lied to you before, so why start now?

Today's news is probably some of the biggest I've had to give in some time. It's something I've been sitting on for a bit, until the time was right to spring it. Well, all has fallen into place and that time is now: Sequential Treasures is now the exclusive art rep for big time comic star Matt Haley! This is very big news for us here and we couldn't be more excited to be working with an artist of Matt's reputation and caliber. I'm sure many of you are familiar with Matt's art from his time at the big two. But for those of you not so in the know, here's a small rundown on Matt's career:

"Artist Matt Haley is well known in the world of comic books for his years of work for Marvel (THE ORDER, HEROES REBORN: REBEL), DC (SUPERGIRL/BATGIRL: ELSEWORLDS FINEST, BIRDS OF PREY) and Dark Horse (GHOST), but he attracted a whole new audience thanks to the illustrations he provided for HarperCollins' new book BADASS, by Ben Thompson, in bookstores nationwide.

Already hard at work on the sequel, Haley also heeded the call to Hollywood and created art for both seasons of Sci-Fi Channel’s hit series, “Stan Lee’s Who Wants to be a Superhero?” But never to forget the industry that helped put him on the map, he remained a fixture in comics working on the art to Superman Returns movie adaptation. Haley’s talent and reputation as an artist have created a demand for his work that spans the entertainment industry.

More recently, he was lead artist for Rift Software's "Liberty Rocket" XBOX game, as well as providing covers for FEMME NOIR for Ape Entertainment, TANGENT: SUPERMAN'S REIGN at DC Comics, and Avatar's relaunch of LADY DEATH. He's
also just directed a secret film project that will be viral on the web by May."

As I said, this is big news. The only down side, is that Matt doesn't have very much of his past originals left for sale. However, Sequential Treasures is working with him to create new exclusive pin up pieces to be sold through us, as well as lining up commission works for him. We will shortly have a commissions rate chart available, so make sure to check in with us shortly, if you'd like to get your own Matt Haley original. Even better, Matt will be at Emerald City ComiCon in March, along with myself, Randy Kintz and Ben Hansen. So, Sequential Treasures looks to be out in force come March and you'll have the opportunity to meet many of the talented creators in our stables.

Wow, how exciting, huh? Things just continue to move onward and upwards for Sequential Treasures and we hope you'll be along for the ride. That's all for this time. I'll be back with more news and updates soon. If they turn out as impressive as this one, you just might not be able to stand it! Until then, peace out!
