New art for sale from Richard Moore!

Hello, Sequential Treasures fiends! I'm back again with another round of art for sale, so I know you all have to be very excited about that.

Well, we just got in a new batch of art from Sequential Treasures resident star, Richard Moore. This time out we have the complete 8-page story of Tin God, from Richard adult TPB Horny Tails, as well as a published one page strip of his creation Deja Vu (shown here). On top of that, you get even more Deja Vu goodness, by way of a previously unpublished 6-page origin story. This was something Richard used to shop the creation around for publication and it is among some of his earliest artwork. So, a very rare treat, to be sure. So, stop by our gallery and give it all a gander. Then, place those order!

Of course, not all my news is good, I'm afraid. I just learned today that artist Pat Carlucci has finally lost his battle with lymphoma. If you remember, last week, some of Pat's artist friends put on some eBay auctions to help pay for the cost of his medical treatment. Well, overnight last night, Pat slipped away. I'm told he went peacefully and surround by his loved one. Pat was a real incredible talent and had many friends among the artistic community, including Sequential Treasures own Randy Kintz. So, if you can, please spare a moment and send your condolences to Pat's family and friends. Thank you.

That's all for now, but I'll be back with more news and info before you know it. Until then, peace out!

New Richard Moore art available to purchase!

Hello everyone! Sequential Treasures is back with a nice big art update from Richard Moore. It's been a while since the last update from Richard and I know some of you have been awaiting one. Well, the wait is now over!

Now available to buy are the cover and pin-ups from the colored reissue of The Pound #1 (including the piece shown here). This was the issue that slipped in under many folks radar last November. Also, we have a couple of unpublished pin-ups featuring the characters from Richard's little known creation, Deja Vu. And for you lovers of Richard's adult themed works, we have over a dozen pin-up from the Horny Tails TPB collection, featuring Meg from Far West, M'Lady and more! But be warned, these are most certainly NSFW. So, make sure to stop on by and check out what's new!

Even better news than this, I've worked out a form of scheduling with Richard on obtaining more of his originals. So, you can expect smaller gaps between updates of art for sale by him. This means more Moore will be available for everyone in 2010! Rock on!

That's it for now. I'll be back soon with more news and hopefully more art updates. Until then, peace out!

Artist Bio: Richard Moore

I figured since I gave you all Chris Ivy's personal bio a few days ago, that it would probably be a good idea to give you Richard Moore's, as well. This was already made public when I was still with Space Goat Fine Arts (and it is where the bulk of the info is coming from), but with a new blog and new start it just makes sense to put it here, too. So, for those who've seen it before, you'll be getting a nice sense of deja vu. For those who haven't seen it before, please do enjoy. And away we go:

"California-born Richard Moore grew up not so much wanting to be an artist as simply feeling compelled to draw. Paper, textbooks, desktops--any flat surface was fair game. Not knowing exactly how to go about making money with his art, Richard focused obsessively on improving his fine art skills, then segued into comics with the publication of titles such as Far West and Deja Vu through Antarctic Press and Radio Comix. Richard has spent the past several years writing and illustrating the indie hit Boneyard (cover art from the series is shown at the left) from NBM Publishing."

And what does the future hold for Richard? The much desired (and much delayed) final issue of Boneyard will be out in a few months, before going on hiatus. There is also the concluding issues to the Fire & Brimstone and Far West: Bad Mojo mini-series, which are to be published by Antarctic Press. Also, some of his past works, which have not been reprinted anywhere else will finally be getting such treatment (the what, where and when, I cannot say right now). Finally, Richard is also hard at work on a children's book, which I will talk more about when more info can be given. So, there will be no shortage of Moore in 2009. In fact, expect lots of big things, both this year and beyond, from this extremely talented creative force.

That's all for now. Tomorrow I will announce the "secret news" I hinted at yesterday. And no, it's not an April Fools joke, either. Until next time, peace out!
