New Richard Moore art availabe to buy!

Hey there, my art loving followers! Were back with some more news and updates for you, as you like it. So, let's get things rolling...

First, we have just added all 16 pages to Far West: Bad Mojo #1 by Richard Moore and Antarctic Press. Richard's elven bounty hunter is one of his more enduring creations and this now means we have the complete set of page to both issue of her latest mini-series, available to purchase right away! Pictured above is just one of them. So, go to the art gallery and check them all out. But don't delay in placing your orders, as this stuff will be going to the Emerald City ComiCon with us and there's no guarantee that it will all be here after we get back. Place those orders ASAP!

And speaking of the upcoming show, it's time for me to give you all another little taste of what we have planned for it. Well, we're doing something we've never done before at any show and are going to have exclusive prints for sale. These are prints that you won't find anywhere else and can only be bought from Sequential Treasures directly. You can see one of the planned prints posted up at our Facebook Group right now, featuring the artistic styling of Ben Hansen. On top of that, we'll have original art for sale, which has not yet been posted to the art gallery. So, your first chance to view them (and purchase them) will be at the show. If these don't make it worth your while to stop by our booth (#1007 in the exhibitors section, in case you didn't know), then nothing will!

Well, that's it for now. We've still got a lot of last minute details to work out before the time of the show, but we'll be here to give you more news an info as we always do. The countdown to ECCC in upon us and I hope to see you there! Until next time, peace out!

The latest art batch from Richard Moore! Huzzah!

Hello again, my art loving friends and fiends. It is once again time to give you all the lowdown on some great new art made for sale, from the talented minds of Sequential Treasures artistic roster. Today, we have the newest batch of art goodness from Richard Moore.

In this update, we have a couple of complete short stories from Richard's adult themed TPB collection called "Horny Tails"! First off is a tale titled "The Return of Frankenstein," in which you'll see old Frankie and his wife like you never have before. Trust me on this. Then we have a mature tale featuring the characters from Far West, in a story called "Tasty Pretty", where Meg shows us just how bad ass she can be. Both there stories are NSFW, so be sure you can view them without getting in trouble.

As if that weren't enough, we also have the complete pages to Far West: Bad Mojo #2, from the mini-series that came out through Antarctic Press last year (one of which is shown right here). All of these pages are in pencil form only, but that just allows you to marvel at the exquisite amount of detail Richard Moore puts into his work. His pencils are so tight and polished, that you'd almost think to ink them is a crime!

In all, we have 35 new pages of art from Richard, that are now available for purchase and can become YOUR pages. So, what are you waiting for? An invitation? Consider it given and check out all the great new stuff and place your order promptly.

I have to say, I'm very gratified that the new schedule system we've worked out with Richard is going along so smoothly. It makes getting mail a lot more fun, as I can hardly wait to see what he'll be sending me next. I hope all of you have been enjoying the benefits of this, too.

That's all for now. I'll be back soon, though, as Free Comic Book Day is nearly upon us and I have cooked up some plans for the event. But, I'll tell you more about that next time. Until then, peace out!

New Richard Moore art available to purchase!

Hello everyone! Sequential Treasures is back with a nice big art update from Richard Moore. It's been a while since the last update from Richard and I know some of you have been awaiting one. Well, the wait is now over!

Now available to buy are the cover and pin-ups from the colored reissue of The Pound #1 (including the piece shown here). This was the issue that slipped in under many folks radar last November. Also, we have a couple of unpublished pin-ups featuring the characters from Richard's little known creation, Deja Vu. And for you lovers of Richard's adult themed works, we have over a dozen pin-up from the Horny Tails TPB collection, featuring Meg from Far West, M'Lady and more! But be warned, these are most certainly NSFW. So, make sure to stop on by and check out what's new!

Even better news than this, I've worked out a form of scheduling with Richard on obtaining more of his originals. So, you can expect smaller gaps between updates of art for sale by him. This means more Moore will be available for everyone in 2010! Rock on!

That's it for now. I'll be back soon with more news and hopefully more art updates. Until then, peace out!

Hitting The Shelves: Far West: Bad Mojo #2

Hey all! It is once again time to give you all the proverbial heads up on some new comic goodness to be found at your local comic retailer this week, featuring one of Sequential Treasures own top-flight talent!

Out tomorrow is Far West: Bad Mojo #2 (of 2) from Antarctic Press and showcasing the peerless artistic presence of our own Richard Moore! Trapped in the area called the Badlands, Meg and Phil the Bear face off against some of the deadliest dangers they ever have. Will they survive and escape this perilous region? Will they capture the bounty they tracked into the Badlands? Will Meg actually hold her temper and cursing in check (Well, I think that last one can be a given as "no.")? All this and more will be answered in the mini-series conclusion. Since this is the first Far West book in almost a decade, this seems to be slipping under the radar of many folks, so make sure you get your copy. Just be on the lookout for the cover shown right here.

And don't forget all the great new art from Richard I updated with very recently. Much of it (along with lots of other goodies by him) are still available to purchase. Make sure to stop by my art gallery and check out what I currently have in stock from Richard (and the other artists art I have in inventory). Until next time, peace out!

Artist Bio: Richard Moore

I figured since I gave you all Chris Ivy's personal bio a few days ago, that it would probably be a good idea to give you Richard Moore's, as well. This was already made public when I was still with Space Goat Fine Arts (and it is where the bulk of the info is coming from), but with a new blog and new start it just makes sense to put it here, too. So, for those who've seen it before, you'll be getting a nice sense of deja vu. For those who haven't seen it before, please do enjoy. And away we go:

"California-born Richard Moore grew up not so much wanting to be an artist as simply feeling compelled to draw. Paper, textbooks, desktops--any flat surface was fair game. Not knowing exactly how to go about making money with his art, Richard focused obsessively on improving his fine art skills, then segued into comics with the publication of titles such as Far West and Deja Vu through Antarctic Press and Radio Comix. Richard has spent the past several years writing and illustrating the indie hit Boneyard (cover art from the series is shown at the left) from NBM Publishing."

And what does the future hold for Richard? The much desired (and much delayed) final issue of Boneyard will be out in a few months, before going on hiatus. There is also the concluding issues to the Fire & Brimstone and Far West: Bad Mojo mini-series, which are to be published by Antarctic Press. Also, some of his past works, which have not been reprinted anywhere else will finally be getting such treatment (the what, where and when, I cannot say right now). Finally, Richard is also hard at work on a children's book, which I will talk more about when more info can be given. So, there will be no shortage of Moore in 2009. In fact, expect lots of big things, both this year and beyond, from this extremely talented creative force.

That's all for now. Tomorrow I will announce the "secret news" I hinted at yesterday. And no, it's not an April Fools joke, either. Until next time, peace out!

Hitting The Shelves: Far West: Bad Mojo #1

Hello again! It's been a while since there was anything new to talk about. I've kept busy trying to obtain new talent to rep for. Nothing has broken so far, but I'm hopeful something will happen on that front soon.

In the meantime, however, it is time to once again let you know about some great new comic work about to hit your local retailer's shop. On sale tomorrow will be Far West: Bad Mojo #1 (of 2)! This is the new mini-series, featuring Richard Moore's awesome elven bounty hunter, is being published through Antarctic Press. This time around hot-tempered, half-native elf Meg and her put-upon partner, Phil the talking bear, are back to pursue their latest quarry through the wild, weird West! But are our two bounty hunters bad enough to survive chasing their target into the aptly named Deadlands? Should be a rip-roaring good time! Make sure to look for the cover image shown here. And, if you just can't wait until tomorrow, you can check out a several page preview of the issue at the Antarctic Press website. Just follow the link provided here.

Also, I will be getting in a new shipment of original art from Richard in the very near future. In it will be art from Boneyard, Fire and Brimstone, plus a few other goodies. So, make sure to keep watch at my art gallery for all the artistic goodness to be found there. More info, as it happens.
